A. Yes. Meal Master™ is designed to securely retrieve and store your facility data on the computers in our datacenter. This means your facility does not incur the costs of installing and maintaining computer servers at your location.
Q. Is a wireless computer network required?
A. Although you can use Meal Master™ without a wireless computer network, in order to take full advantage of the flexibility of a tablet computer for your resident meal selections, a wireless computer network is highly recommended.
Q. How is Meal Master™ different from other menu management and dietary programs?
A. While other management and dietary software may offer preloaded menus, tally sheets and tray tickets, Meal Master™ has the added unique benefit of allowing offsite caregivers to make meal selections on behalf of the resident from any computer with an Internet connection. Since the application is cloud-based, dining service directors/chefs, dieticians, and other care providers can also access pertinent information while away from the facility.

Q. How long does it take to implement Meal Master™?

A typical implementation takes approximately 2 weeks. Our implementation team will assist you with project management, stopgaps, identifying and mitigating potential problems, data load and training. Q. Do I have to use Meal Master's™ menus, or can we use our existing menus instead?
A. Using Meal Master's™ professionally designed and nutritionally balanced menus is recommended but not required. You can use your own or easily augment our menus with meals that you have designed.

A. The Meal Master™ software is designed to run on any Android based tablet device running version 4.1 and above. There are many models available on the market that meet this specification; Google Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab are among our top recommendations.
Q. How can I find out the nutritional values of the menus provided with Meal Master™?
A. Meal Master displays the nutritional values of each meal provided. If a facility chooses to augment the menus, or use existing menus, the nutritional values can be revised. When residents select meals, they can view the nutritional values for themselves. This allows all residents to feel a greater sense of involvement in their own health and the care provided.
